Air-Fried Bang-Bang Cauliflower

With a spicy bang of heat, this air-fried cauliflower makes an irresistible side dish or snack.

Air-Fried Bang-Bang Cauliflower

Ingredients

Cauliflower:

Quantity Ingredient
¼ all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
⅓ cup buttermilk
2 tbsp Louisiana Hot Sauce - Hotter Than Hot
1 large cauliflower, cut into florets (about 8 cups)

Bang Bang Sauce:

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Louisiana Hot Sauce - Hotter Than Hot
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp sesame oil
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions for Cauliflower:

    In large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Whisk in buttermilk and The Original Louisiana Brand® Hot Sauce Hotter Than Hot until smooth. Add cauliflower and toss until well coated.

    Preheat air fryer to 375°F according to manufacturer’s instructions. In 2 batches, grease air-fyer basket with cooking spray or line with perforated parchment paper and arrange cauliflower in air-fryer basket in a single layer. Air-fry for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Directions for Bang Bang Sauce:

    Whisk together mayonnaise, The Original “Louisiana” Brand® Hot Sauce Hotter Than Hot, honey, lime juice, sesame oil, and salt until smooth.

    Arrange cauliflower onto platter, drizzle with ¼ cup bang bang sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with remaining bang bang sauce.

Tip: Alternatively, arrange cauliflower on parchment paper–lined baking sheet and bake at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
